North Carolina
The North Carolina Department of Labor has many fall protection requirements for construction zones and related activities. North Carolina has an approved OSHA State Plan called NC OSH. NC OSH refers to OSHA CFR 2019 for all applicable fall protection requirements.
Along with NC OSH, the North Carolina Building Code (NCBC) adheres to the International Building Code standards, but applies amendments that are relevant to North Carolina.
With our experience in North Carolina, we can ensure that your site meets and exceeds the NC Department of Labor’s stringent requirements.
South Carolina
South Carolina OSHA is committed to the mission of making South Carolina a safe place to work and live by preventing workplace deaths, injuries, and illnesses.
South Carolina’s Occupational Safety and Health Standards are identical to those enforced by the Secretary of Labor, United States Department of Labor. These standards are known as the Occupational Safety and Health Rules and Regulations of the State of South Carolina.
Georgia
The State of Georgia continues to attract new businesses each year and this growth also requires new residential construction. Georgia not only enforces OSHA regulations, but they enforce the Georgia State Minimum Standard Codes. Current construction updates to the Georgia code took effect on January 1, 2020, and involve the required location and height of guardrails and handrails.
